Welcome to Srinagar, On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to houseboat. Afternoon in the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. Enjoy visiting the other major highlights of Srinagar city, the Mughal Gardens and the white mosque. Back to houseboat and dinner and overnight.
Early morning after breakfast leave from Srinagar and drive straight to Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and Skiing during the winter season on arrival at Gulmarg Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. In the evening return to hotel. Over Night at hotel in Srinagar.
Morning drive to Kargil. The road passes through picturesque village Sonamarg. Snow capped peaks, dense forest, beautiful gushing rivers and streams make Sonamarg an enchanting destination. Calm meadows of flowers nestled beautifully by the amazing glaciers, snowfields, miniature plateaus and islets are synonymous to Sonamarg. The beautiful sparkling effect of golden rays of sun through the snowcapped peaks will very much inspire your imagination in Sonamarg. Then drive through the Zojila Pass. Continue drive towards Drass sector and stop here for tea and passport check. Another two and half hours’ drive will take you to Kargil. Check-in and overnight Kargil hotel.
After early breakfast leave for Leh it takes 8hrs drive to reach at Leh. Enroute visit 11th century rock curved statue at Mulbek, Lamayuru monasteries ,En route enjoy the view of Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar River), visit Hall Of Fame (The Hall of Fame is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army. It is worth a visit for every citizen. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh)  Megnetic Hill (Defying the Law of gravity. Further also visit Sangam (the confluence of two rivers) later reach Leh check into Hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast at Hotel you will be proceed to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Continue drive to Hemis monastery to visit one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh. Later on the way back to Leh get down at the Sindhu Ghat for Sindhu Darshan and walk along the river, also visit 3 Idoits School campus. After spending some time at the river come back to the Hotel afternoon visit Leh Palace is a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh. Modelled on the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, the palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century. It is nine storey’shigh; the upper floors accommodated the royal family, while the lower floors held stables and store rooms. Then visit to Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa (chorten) on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh district It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura . The Shanti Stupa holds the relics of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama himself, in the evening explore Leh Local Market for shopping, overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
After breakfast at Hotel you will be proceed to Nubra Valley by Crossing Khardung-la Pass (The highest motor able road in the world 5602 m). On the way, you have amazing panoramic view of Indus valley, Shayok River, Himalayan Mountains and Karakoram Mountains range. Explore Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel double humped (On Direct Payment Basis) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road are rocky mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance can be seen snow-capped mountains. The most attractive features of Nubra valley is the sand dune. Evening free for leisure, Overnight stay in Fixed Camp at Nubra Valley.
After an early breakfast we check out from the Camp and drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok River On the way you have amazing view of charming villages, beautiful mountains, animals like Yaks, nomads and beautiful valley of Changthang. Arrive at Lake, the Lake is 136 kms long and 5 kms wide, 47% of this lake is in India and rest is in Tibet. The view of lake is spectacular and breathtaking. Enjoy the unforgettable scenery beauty of Lake and the voice of Himalayan migrant birds. Evening free for leisure, overnight stay in Camp.
Early Morning enjoy the picturesque view of sun rise on Lake, after breakfast drive back to Leh by Crossing Chang-la pass (The world’s third highest motorable road 5360 m). The drive is pretty remote but with amazing landscapes. A drive of around 7 hours and you will be back in Leh city, Check-in hotel and have some rest. For dinner tonight, we walk down to the market and have some dinner time. Back to hotel and overnight.
Post healthy breakfast, Check-out and you will have a timely transfer to Leh airport to catch flight to Dehi and onwards. Let's keep in touch over facebook/instagram till we see you again through some different routs.
