Glimpse of Ladakh (4N5D)

Full day of sightseeing, visiting some the well known spotlights of Leh After Breakfast, you will drive out and start your day visiting the three most important monasteries of Ladakh - Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and Shey Palace.

Hemis is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh and houses about 150 monks; it also stages the annual Hemis festival. On the way back to Leh, we visit the superbly situated, 16th century, Thiksey Gompa, which is perched on a hill top. Last stop is the ruined Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the pre-Tibetan kings. The palace monastery houses a large, bronze, blue haired Buddha statue. Further heading back to Leh, you will get to visit the Shanti stupa by the sunset and head back to Leh hotel for dinner and overnight.

After morning breakfast, Check-out and you have a 6 hours drive to Pangong Tso where Tso stands for “Lake” situated at (14,500 ft). Driving through the Changla Pass 17,350 ft.,it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Late afternoon you will be at Pangong tso and start with the check-in process at your camp here. After a quick freshen up, lets head down to the Lake and observe how its change its colors with the change in the sky. Your dinner will be at the camp dinning hall and overnight camps at Pangong.

After breakfast, checkout from the camps and you will be given some more time at the Lake to capture some last moments. You will be driving back the same route back to Leh and stop by visiting the iconic Thiksey monastery. Followed the visit, you will drive back to Leh. Check-in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Tour concludes. After breakfast, you will have a timely transfer to Domestic Airport for onward Journey. We hope you had a wonderful travel time and took back all great memories.
